Tammy (Shultz) Csutor NEWPORT — Tammy Ann (Shultz) Csutor, 67, passed away gracefully Sunday morning, June 12, 2022, at her home in Newport, New Hampshire. She was born Jan. 5, 1955, to the late Walter and Rita (Follansbee) Shultz, being one of the first babies born in Newport, New Hampshire, that year. Tammy grew up in Newport, graduating from Newport High School in 1973. She met the love of her life, John Csutor, in the early-’80s and they were married on Aug. 29, 1987, on Mount Kearsarge with a little rain that day to ensure their luck in love. They enjoyed days, nights and weekends going for motorcycle rides, good times with family and friends, and most importantly, just being together. Their love and bond were unmatched. She loved flowers, nature, crafting, bingo, and anything old (especially pictures and stories), and had a knack for going to town for groceries and coming home with furniture and treasures. She was known to bring everybody together with her incredible chop suey. Always willing to take the time to listen (even to a stranger) and wasn’t afraid to give an honest answer. She remembered everybody’s names and was as sharp as a tack. Known as someone who didn’t ask for much, yet she was always the first to offer help, finding joy in giving and being there for her family and friends. She loved watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren growing up. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and volunteered at the Humane Society (coming home with many animals). Tammy was predeceased by her parents; sister Donzella R. (Shultz) Pelletier; and grandson Wyatt Kenney. Surviving family members include her husband, John H. Csutor; children, Wendell (Jessica) Bedell and Kymberly (Roy) Holt; brother Howard Shultz and his wife, Carol; brother David Shultz and his significant-other, Joann Coulombe; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her family and friends most of all and leaves behind a legacy of love. She will be missed dearly by her community, family and friends. Her memories will live with us forever. A memorial service will be held with calling hours on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Newton Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Newport, New Hampshire, with graveside service to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
