Post 37 Takes Double-Header

Bellows Falls Post 37 defeated Bennington Post 13 2-1 in Game 1 of a double-header on Sunday at Hadley Field. Both teams had opportunities to win this game. Bennington had the bases loaded with no outs in 4th, and after scoring 1 run, left them loaded. They also left the bases loaded in the 5th without scoring. Bellows Falls also left a number of players on the bases, including leaving the bases loaded in the 5th without scoring. Bellows Falls used three pitchers, with Sam Presch starting and being the winning pitcher. He as relieved by Ty Merrill, and Cam Boardman came in for the save.

In Game 2, Post 37 Run Ruled Bennington winning 12- 2 in 5 Innings. Elliott Graham went the distance for the win

Bennington drops to 2-5, while Bellows Falls improves to 3-1. Bellows Falls will be on the road for 7 games starting on Tuesday, June 28th, against Post 84 in White River Junction.
