She married Brad Martell on September 23, 1983. Their marriage was a strong bond, never straying too far from each other. When you saw one you knew the other wasn’t far away. Coaching for several years and doing a lot of volunteering at the GCC in Claremont. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren and even welcoming a great grandson just before her passing. Gloria was a lover of racing. She was her son and grandsons’ biggest fan when they were on the track whether it was stock car or go kart. She worked prior to retiring at the Charlestown Middle School in the lunchroom where she inherited several new “grandchildren”. She was big into family and if you stuck around long enough you lost the friendship status and became family status. She was known for her funny sense of humor and her ability to make people laugh. Christy’s children, Andrew and his partner, Sarah and their children, Elizah Rose and Grayson John; and Madison and her partner, Sam.
