Joyce E. Aldrich CORNISH — Joyce Elaine Aldrich, 81, of Cornish, NH passed peacefully on July 28. Joyce was born on November 19, 1940, to Kenneth and Hannah Wilmot. She grew up on a farm in Lyme, NH and continued her love of gardening throughout her life, proud to produce and preserve vegetables that she shared with everyone. She married her love, George Aldrich, Jr., on July 27, 1962. They lived in Lebanon, Plainfield, and Meriden before settling in Cornish where they lived for 49 years, a memorable part of the community. Joyce held various jobs: the woolen mill in Lebanon, a custodian at Cornish school, medical coding, and most recently at Walmart, to name a few. Her jobs were insignificant compared to her hobbies. Joyce forever loved playing Bingo, bowled with her husband, was never far from a book, crocheted many beautiful lap blankets and made some of the best baked goods- especially her donuts and bread! When her children came home from school, they could smell her donuts cooking as they stepped off the bus. Joyce is predeceased by her parents, her three siblings: Harry, Merle, and Betty, her beloved husband George, and their son, David. She is survived by so many who loved her. Her three children: George Aldrich III and his partner Dorothy, Robin Durphey and her husband David, and Kenneth Aldrich and his wife Tammy; Her fourteen grandchildren (and their partners): Ellie Aldrich, Jessica Aldrich, Justin Aldrich, Tiffany Aldrich, Brianna Smith, Dakota Aldrich, Conlin Aldrich, Crystal Aldrich, Geoff Durphey, Christopher Aldrich, Noelle Kronberg, Bethany Doody, and Jamileh Aldrich; an ever growing number of great grandchildren: Asher, Ivar, Xander, Freya, Austin, Gavin, Arianna, Nyoka, Illyanna, Gideon, Dakota, Conlin, David, Saphire, Isac, Axel, Aiden, Ava, Lydia, Luke, Scarlett, and Levi; as well as numerous beloved in-laws and extended family.
