Ernest A. Rowe

Ernest A. Rowe SUNAPEE, NH — Ernest Alfred Rowe, 70 years old of Sunapee NH, passed peacefully from lewy body dementia at New London Hospital on August 8, 2022. Ernie was born on August 6, 1952 to Gilbert Rowe and Florence (Johnson) Rowe. He has two sisters, Lisa Tremblay and Dianne Archambault and one brother, Kenny Rowe. Ernie attended Newport Schools where he graduated and then worked locally to include Johnson and Dix, Sanborn Express and then on to the family business, Rowe Plumbing and Heating during the development of Eastman. During the 1990’s he formed his own business Ernest Rowe Plumbing Services, LLC which his son has now continued. Ernie was also part of the Masons and Bektash Shriners. He enjoyed spending time maintaining his beautiful yard and spending time with his family, his prized possession. Ernie enjoyed sharing his vast knowledge of all kinds, including local history, with his children and grandchildren. Ernie was a hard working man with a kind and generous soul. Ernie is survived by his wife of over 27 years, Donna Rowe, he is also survived by his children, Kristal and her husband, Richard Rosenbeck III and two children, Richard IV and William. His son Ernest “Buddy” Rowe and his wife, Caitlin and their two children, Elsa and Hattie. Along with step children to include Kelly French and his granddaughter, Ruby French and step daughter, Terri Crawford. Ernie also leaves behind numerous step children and step grandchildren. Ernest touched many other lives and holds a special place in all of our hearts. There will be a celebration of life on September 24, 2022 from 2pm to 5pm at the Livery in Sunapee, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ernie’s memory to The Livery of Sunapee, NH or the Shriners Children Burn Center of Boston.
