Michael C. Knicely

Michael C. Knicely ALSTEAD, NH — Michael Clyde Knicely (Bear), Born August 18, 1963, passed away on August 24th unexpectedly. Many knew him as a calloused tough guy, but he gave the shirt off his back to more people than he would ever let you know. He was a very skilled electrician and was very passionate about working on, driving, and beating all his Willy’s Jeeps into the ground. I never saw him struggle with anything he wanted to do (other than computers). Mike was a volunteer fire fighter for the town of Acworth in his younger years. In the words of his mother “at least we know he did a lot of living and left his mark everywhere he went.” This is proven true in just the sheer amount of stories everyone has about him. He loved to shoot off his cannon and torment anyone he could with hot peppers. He is survived by his mother, Fay Knicely; his brother Brad; his sister Cheryl; his son Michael; his daughter Felicia; and his grandchildren that he was so proud of; Cayleigh, Sawyer and the granddaughter that he never got to meet, Violet. There will be calling hours at Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon, NH from 1pm to 3pm Saturday September 3rd. A funeral will be held at a later date to be determined in Acworth. An online guest book is available to leave a message of condolence for his family by visiting www.rickerfuneralhome.com
