Robert A. Emerson WINDSOR — Robert “Bob” Allen Emerson, 69, of Windsor, Vermont, passed away peacefully on August 24th at his beloved Stoughton House. Robert was born May 17th, 1953, in Claremont, NH., to Wilfred and Edith (Quimby) Emerson. Robert worked at Joy MFG. and the Claremont School District. He was proud to volunteer for many years with the Proctorsville Fire Dept. In his early years, Robert enjoyed spending time at his parent’s cottage on Mtn. View Lake. He also enjoyed fishing, watching football (especially his beloved Patriots) and auto racing, and listening to rock and roll music. In the 80s, Bob volunteered with Steven’s football and spent the last thirty years involved in the local music scene. “Bob,” as his friends often called him, was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his son Nathan, daughter-in-law Christen, grandchildren Seth and Emily Emerson, his sister Cheryl Marek and her husband, Peter. A graveside service will be held privately at Mtn. View Cemetery in Claremont, NH. The family would also like to thank the staff of the Stoughton House at Historic Homes of Runnemede for the loving and dedicated care that they provided Bob.
