Bruce R. Johnson CHARLESTOWN — Bruce, 73, was born on September 7, 1949, to Raymond and Margaret (Peg) Johnson in Springfield VT. Bruce worked as a CPA and lived in Springfield MA up to his retirement when he bought a home in Charlestown, NH to be closer to his brother. Bruce is predeceased by his parents, his paternal and maternal grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, and his brother’s step daughter Amy. Bruce is survived by his brother Ronald Johnson and his wife Joan, his nieces Suzanne Kruger and her husband Jay, Stacie Johnson, Ron’s step daughters Heather and Jessica and their children and grandchildren. His cousin Claire Buckley and her husband Jay, his cousin Gary Earl and his wife April, the widow of his cousin Jimmy, Maryellen Marriam. His special friends, Bob McGovern and his daughter Hailey, Scott Prentagrass and Audrey Hastings. Bruce loved to travel especially to Vegas, Puerto Rico and the Florida Keys. He had a deep love of the Ocean especially Hampton, NH and the beaches of Maine. Graveside service will be held at St Mary’s Cemetery on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent in his name to the American Heart Association. Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield VT has been entrusted with the arrangements.
