CLAREMONT – There will be no racing this weekend at Claremont Motorsports Park, as promoter Mike Parks and staff prepare the historic third-mile for its 75th annual Championship Night event on a special Saturday night format next week, September 24.
The CMP 2022 Championship Night present by Arrowhead Motors event will feature final points races in six divisions of NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series competition, followed by a gigantic Noise “R” Us aerial fireworks display.
The final points night event will be preceded by an on-track meet-and-greet track party that night from 5 to 6 p.m.
The NHSTRA Modifieds, Route 103 Auto/Heads Up Motorsports Late Model Sportsman, R.E. Hinkley Fuels Street Stock, In City Sugar Shack Mini Stock, LaValley Building Supply Pure Stock, and Avery Insurance Six Shooter divisions will be in action Saturday, September 24, at the Thrasher Road speedplant.
