Championship Night This Saturday

CLAREMONT — It’s Championship Night 2022 this Saturday at Claremont Motorsports Park with the 75-year-old speedplant’s six divisional championships to be decided on a special Saturday night of racing followed by a huge aerial fireworks display.

Motors event will feature a full six-division card of racing; the 2022 championship event following 18 completed nights of racing this season at the storied third-mile oval.

The NHSTRA Modifieds, Route 103 Auto/Heads Up Motorsports Late Model Sportsmen, R.E. Hinkley Fuels Street Stocks, In City Sugar Shack Mini Stocks, LaValley Building Supply Pure Stocks, and Avery Insurance Six Shooters will all be in action.

While Orwell, VT’s Tim LaDuc has already wrapped up the 2022 Peanut’s Auto 602 Dirt Modified crown, the speedway’s other six divisional champions will all be crowned Saturday.

An on-track meet-and-greet party will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. to give fans a photo or autograph opportunity with their favorite drivers, with racing set to begin at 5:15 p.m.; with a huge Noise “R” Us fireworks display capping the season championships at 8:30 p.m.

What a great way to celebrate the first weekend of autumn, cheering on the boys of summer on Championship Night at Claremont Motorsports Park.
