Roger Sanders SPRINGFIELD, VT — Roger Sanders of Springfield Vt passed away on September 10,2022 at the age of 50 after a brief illness surrounded by his family. He was born on March 23, 1972 and grew up in Easthampton Mass until moving to Charlestown NH where he graduated from Fall Mountain in 1990 and created a life of family and friends. Roger was well known in town to a lot of people. He was a volunteer Fire Fighter for the town of Charlestown for 7 years and also worked as a mechanic right in town for many years. He was known for going to Jiffy Mart and could be gone for an hour because he just got to talking whether it was someone he knew or some random person that was willing to carry on a conversation with him. He loved hunting and especially fishing, anything on wheels or with a motor, traveling and being spontaneous, cooking and grilling or smoking meats, camping, Star Wars, music, friends and family. He was a stubborn man but had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need and give you the shirt off his back in a heartbeat. In the last few years of his life, he had made a home in Springfield Vt with his wife and love of his life Billie jo who he married on May 4, 2021 and was working towards their next chapter of happiness doing what he loved. He was working in Conway still as a mechanic, twisting wrenches and loving life always working just a little too hard. He was happy and excited about this next chapter in his life and was sadly taken too soon to really get to enjoy it. Roger was predeceased by his grandmother June Patterson. He has left behind his parents David and Cinderella Sanders, His Wife Billie jo Sanders, Children Shelby and husband Will Laraway, Patience and Husband Jason Tinker, Amber and Kody Sanders, Chris Jackman and wife Jamie, Patrick Jackman and wife Hailey, Alaina and Bradley. His grandchildren Karter, Harper, Dylan and Jordan Laraway. Ezra, Christian and Ryen Tinker, Aurora Boobar, Allie, Owen Maverick, Carter, Caiden, Oakleigh, Odin, Grayson and Bonnie Jackman and Liam O’Brien. Also, Brothers Ivan Park, wife July, and Wayne Sanders, and His Sister Annette Bashaw. He also left behind life long friends that were there till the end Joseph Pecor, Derik Karson, Ben Hastings and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Roger Sanders was a good man and wanted nothing more than to succeed in life and share happiness with family. He adored his wife, children and his grandchildren with every ounce he had. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. May the force be with you. Celebration of Life Will be October 15th 2022 starting at 1 pm at his home in Springfield VT
