Our local teams had a great weekend. Every one of our football teams not only won, but won big, while the Stevens Women’s Soccer team remained undefeated and unscored upon with an 8-0 record currently atop of Division 3. Bellows Falls, Newport and Windsor have yet to be beaten on the gridiron. The Bellows Falls (4-0) and Newport (8-1) Field Hockey teams continue to roll, while Stevens stands (6-2) and has ripped off five wins in a row. The crowds have been large and as we pass the midway point in the season, there are plenty of teams looking at playoff appearances across our region.
