Valerie Azotea CLAREMONT — Valerie Azotea, 70, of Claremont, NH beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt left our world to be with her sister, Sharon on September 28, 2022 with family at her side. She was born in Manchester, NH on January 21, 1952, to Leroy and Aline (Neugebauer) Burbank. She graduated from Manchester High School West in 1970, where she met the love of her life, Victor Azotea. The two crazy kids were wed on April 2, 1971. They built their life together, living in various cities, including San Diego, Manchester, Lebanon, and finally Claremont, where they raised their children, and welcomed their grandchildren. Valerie spent many years with the State of NH-DMV in Claremont, and many more with City Hall’s Central Collections Dept. She truly enjoyed working with others and helping all that she could. At home, she was also an incredible homemaker who could make just about anything appear, whether it be food, decor, craft projects, gifts, or anything she put her mind to. “I got it!” was a common phrase heard when one would volunteer to help her. Her fierce independence could only be matched by her love for her family and her passion to help others. She is predeceased by her parents, and her sister, Sharon Burbank. Her family includes her Beloved Husband of 51 years, Vic Azotea of Claremont; her son, Victor Azotea of Lebanon; her daughter, Kate LaPlante of Claremont; seven grandchildren; two brothers and their families: Randy Burbank (Pamela) of Effingham, and David Burbank (Robin) of Bedford, and her Aunts Beverly Toolin (Bill) and Patricia Parrack (Ben). A private graveside service will be scheduled at a later date. This world is forever less. In lieu of flowers, please consider a local charity.
