Windsor Women’s Soccer downs Springfield 1-0
Windsor and Springfield traded opportunities in the first half and the score was 0-0 at the break. With just over 4 minutes to go in the game, Audrey Rupp found Olivia MacLeay for the game winner. Windsor took over in the second half by out shooting Springfield 10-1. “Credit to Springfield for pushing us to dig deep, but I’m so proud of how my team pushed through and got the win,” said Windsor coach Jeff Bachey.

Ashlin Maxfield, Emma Bazin and Sadie Scott tallied goals for the Terriers to remain undefeated on the season. The 8-0-1 Terriers have a huge week hosting undefeated and top ranked Division 2 Hartford (9-0-1) on Tuesday then hosting Woodstock (8-1) on Thursday.
