Spooky Stories in Warner

Do you live in a haunted house? Have you had unexplained encounters with the supernatural? Do you enjoy hearing about the macabre? Do you know any good spooky stories? You’ll want to join us as we share scary stories at the Lower Warner Meeting House. We’ll share historical tales of the grave robbers, serial killings, witches, ghosts and other supernatural events from Warner and Hopkinton. We want to hear your favorite spooky stories too.

The gory story fest from the Warner and Hopkinton Historical Societies takes place on October 30, 3pm in the Lower Warner Meeting House at 225 E Main St, Warner. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Some stories may not be suitable for young ears. It will be light outside, but plenty dim and spooky inside the Meeting House.

The Society has yearly exhibits, and programs in the Upton Chandler House Museum on Main Street and maintains the Lower Warner Meeting House which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Hopkinton Historical Society promotes and disseminates the study and understanding of Hopkinton and New Hampshire history through scholarly inquiry, exhibitions, programs, and publications.
