Wanna E. Baker

Wanna E. Baker WEATHERSFIELD, VT — Wanna E. Baker, 90, died on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor. Born in Springfield, VT on June 9, 1932, to William and Wilma (Bosworth) Baker, Wanna lived her whole life in southern Windsor County, working as a draftsman and cartographer in Chester and Springfield. She was a long-time employee of Bryant in Springfield, VT. Wanna loved fishing, photography, traveling around the country with her best friend Elsie, including many trips to Alaska. She enjoyed camping, listening to and attending New England bluegrass concerts. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Orin, William, Herbert, and is survived by a sister, Virginia of Springfield, VT, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. A visitation will be held at 1pm with a service at 2pm at Knight Funeral Home, Windsor, VT on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Burial in Perkinsville will follow in the spring of 2023.
