Brett M. Westcott CLAREMONT — Brett Michael Westcott, 63, passed away at the Keene Center in Keene, NH due to complications of Covid and pneumonia. Born on June 25, 1959, son of Dorothy Ann and Robert Henry Westcott Sr. of Drewsville, NH. Brett attended Walpole schools and graduated in 1977 from Fall Mountain Regional High School. After graduation he went on to work in the Machine Tool industry for Woodland Tool in Bellows Falls, VT and Fuller Machine in East Alstead, NH. In the 1980’s he made his home in Claremont, NH and worked at Holson Photo Album Company on Twistback Road until it’s closing. He was in machine maintenance and grounds keeping, later doing maintenance for Claremont Schools and Crown Point Cabinetry. Brett was a loving family man marrying Liane Oliver in 1984. He loved nature, hunting, fishing, gardening, 4th of July barbeques, and his dog, Oscar. He was predeceased by his daughter, Shelli-Ann Westcott in 2007. Surviving family includes sisters, Brenda Tripodes and Karen Crowley of Charlestown, and Noelle Paul of Newport, his brothers, Robert Westcott Jr. of Unity and Joel Westcott of Alstead. Calling hours are on November 3rd from 5 to 7 PM at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, NH. Graveside services will be held on November 4th at Lower Langdon Cemetery in Langdon and 11 AM. Brett believed in paying it forward and helping those in need.
