Mr. Peter Welch, I presume you believe you will automatically take over retiring Senator Leahy’s seat in the senate. But why should you? Rather than consider the welfare of your constituents you’ve been carrying water for President Joe Biden as he wiped out our independence of oil and gas, setting on the downward spiral of high inflation, shortage of goods, and left open the path of any of any terrorist wanting to do us harm. I just spent $500.00 for 100 gal of heating oil. Not long ago I could heat through the winter for that amount of money. I’ve never seen any sign that you cared a tinkers dam for those of us on a fixed income. Why should you go to the senate? You have not given any indication of independent thought, following Pelosi’s order now and ready to follow ole Chuck. I’ve noticed that you follow the “climate change” crowd believing we can give up fossil fuel and go all electric, buying the batteries from China. Knowing, but not caring, that most of won’t afford an electric car. So, just who will you be representing as a senator?
