On Tuesday, November 8, 2022 the citizens of Sullivan County will have the opportunity to elect one of our own to the NH Senate. Charlene Lovett is a Claremont resident who is running to become the State Senator representing most of the residents of Sullivan County. Senate District 8 includes Claremont, Charlestown, Newport, Sunapee, Croydon, Washington, Lempster, Langdon and Acworth plus various small towns in Cheshire, Hillsborough and Merrimack Counties. Charlene’s opponent lives in Cheshire County. It is time for Sullivan County to have the representation we deserve. Our region of NH is consistently overlooked and underappreciated in Concord, partly because we don’t have the representation we need. To have a State Senator who lives in Claremont (the only city in District 8), a person who has experience dealing with the challenges our communities face, and who is easily accessible to our residents will be a refreshing change. Charlene Lovett has the energy, the vision, the experience and the heart to truly represent Claremont and Sullivan County in the State Senate. On Nov. 8, please vote to give southwestern NH a stronger voice in Concord by electing Charlene Lovett to the NH Senate.
