#1 Bellows Falls vs #2 Mount Anthony in Rutland on Saturday November 12th at 11am
“We have a week to be ready, we will be ready for Mount Anthony. We need to play clean. All you can ask for is to be one of the teams playing in the last game of the year in Vermont, we have earned that right. Mount Anthony is one heck of a team but so is Bellows Falls, this should be one heck of a championship game,” Bob Lockerby.
The Terriers will run, run and then run some more but if Mount Anthony forgets about Jamison Nystrom’s arm, Eli Allbee will have a big day. The Patriots are good but Bellows Falls is better, look for big days from Caden Haskell and Walker James as the Terriers win their second state title in a row.
Prediction: Bellows Falls 24, Mt. Anthony 13

#1 Windsor vs #2 BFA/Fairfax in Rutland on Saturday November 12th at 2 pm
“It’s not about just going to Rutland, it’s about closing out the season with a win. We have another level to go, we are on a roll and getting better every week,” said Windsor Head Coach Greg Balch after Saturday’s win. “We still need to push and get better, this week will be the most important week of their football lives.”
Jacks quarterback Maison Fortin has run and passed for over 600 yards this season. If BFA tries to keep him in the backfield, Rodger Petermann and Travis McAllister will have a field day. Windsor came back against BFA to win in week #1 but Windsor has rushed for nearly 2500 yards this season and nobody has stopped them yet and I don’t think Saturday will be any different. The Windsor defense is a turnover machine which will decide the game.
Prediction: Windsor 30, BFA 21

Championship game
#1 Somersworth vs #2 Newport in Laconia on Saturday November 12th at 1pm
“First time, Somersworth punched us in the mouth and we didn’t react. We got there late, didn’t have our full warmup, it was their Homecoming, we had a lot going against us,” Proper said. “But if I had to pick a game to lose, that was probably it. The pressure is off us now. We’re not undefeated and Somersworth has rolled over everyone. We’ll be ready.”
Newport will run the football with Kyle Ashley leading the way under center. Tyler Gobin is a beast and with Kayden LaClair’s speed, the pass might be an opportunity waiting for the Tigers. If Newport wins the turnover war and keeps their penalties to a minimum and they capitalize on Somersworth’s mistakes, the Tigers could pull off the upset.
Prediction: Newport 20, Somersworth 17
