The Hannaford grocery store in Keene has issued a recall for ground beef sold Saturday, Nov. 12, between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m., according to a news release from the company.
Hannaford brand ground beef products with a “sell by” date of Nov. 15 may contain foreign material, the Sunday news release states. Customers who purchased the product — specifically the 80 percent and 85 percent ground beef — should not eat it and may return it or its packaging to the store for a full refund, according to the release.
The UPC codes of the recalled products are 24221400000 and 21377900000 for the 80 percent ground beef, and 22312600000 and 22312700000 for the 85 percent.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported, the release states. The recall applies only to the Hannaford at 481 West St. in Keene.
