CLAREMONT — Holiday season revelers start your engines. It’s time for the last races of the year this Saturday, November 26, as Claremont Motorsports Park opens its doors for the second annual Turkey Day Classic presented by Maurice Enterprises.
There will be five divisions of exciting oval track racing Saturday at the Thrasher Road speedplant, complemented by two show-closing Enduros, Post time for the Turkey Day Classic is 1 p.m.
A $1,000-to-win Open Street Stock main event will draw a big field of competitors from throughout New England, with Mini Stocks, Pure Stocks, Six Shooters and Dwarf Cars also battling Saturday, followed by both a six- and eight-cylinder Enduro and a four-cylinder Enduro, the latter of which drew a field of more than 60 entrants in last November’s inaugural run.
So, if you’ve had your fill of drumsticks and cranberry sauce, grab a ten-dollar bill — that’s all-adult admission costs for the Turkey Day Classic – and head on out to Claremont Motorsports Park this Saturday. And please, if you can, bring an unwrapped toy to help the Kiwanis of Claremont 2022 toy drive.
