Esther F. Kibble

Esther F. Kibble ASCUTNEY, VT — Esther F. Kibble, 101, passed peacefully with her 3 daughters by her side on Monday, November 21,2022 at Cedar Hill in Windsor VT. Born to Charles E. and Hester (Horton) Jewell in in Stratham, NH on November 24,1920. Her schooling was at Robinson Seminary in Exeter, NH. She attended University of New Hampshire graduating in 1942. Esther married William G Kibble on February 11, 1945, and they honeymooned in Lake Placid, NY. They were married 44 years. Bill passed away in 1989. Together they enjoyed many years together camping at Lake Champlain, fishing in the ocean and spending time having great cookouts in the backyard with their family and friends. Esther worked at Hitchcock Clinic in Hanover, NH in the Dietary Dept. Then at Mount Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, Vermont as a supervisor in food services. Esther was a gem of a woman and will be truly missed by all that knew her. She had a great positive attitude. Love to make people smile and with her silly songs and yodeling. Esther enjoyed many crafts, including sewing, painting, gardening to name a few. She enjoyed the backyard birds and caring for many cats and dogs. She was involved in helping people in many ways throughout her lifetime. Survived by her three daughters, Susan Rice of Claremont, NH, Katherine McNeil of Ascutney, VT and Cora Kibble of Hampton, NH. One grandson, Mark Bourgeault (Jen) of Newfields, NH and one granddaughter, Denise Douglas (Matt) of North Hampton, NH. Several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, parents, siblings, Paschel Jewell, Josephine Battey, Ruth MacLennan and Francis Brown. Memorial donations may be given to a charity of your choice. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Stringer Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, NH 03743.
