Michael T. Ravlin

Michael T. Ravlin CHARLESTOWN — Michael Thomas Ravlin, 68, of Charlestown, NH passed away unexpectedly on November 23, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer. Michael was born in Hartford, CT to Robert and Dorothy (Frances) Ravlin. He spent most of his childhood in Southbridge, MA and moved to Charlestown, NH in the mid-1970s. Michael held many jobs in his life, including working for the town of Charlestown. He eventually became a Master Electrician and proudly worked for the IBEW Local #490 for many years. Michael had a brilliant mind and a love for education; he used his skills to teach electrical code classes through his local and to mentor many people to become electricians. Michael is survived by his twin daughters Ericka (Andrew) Morrison and Gayle (Brad) Lamothe, his siblings Gail (Greg) Buss, Barbara (Fred) Hill, Robert (Sherry) Ravlin, Brien (Kathy) Ravlin, and Lisa (Robert) Goodrich. He is also survived by his ex-wife Cheryl Baraby, stepdaughter Kristi (Charles) Waryas, his three grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Michael is predeceased by his parents and his sister Sandy Ravlin. Michael had a love for fishing and music. He enjoyed frequenting breakfast diners throughout the area and visiting with the community of friends he cultivated there. Michael always kept a smile and his good sense of humor no matter what obstacles life threw his way. He should be remembered by all as an intelligent, warm-hearted and compassionate father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Sunday December 4, 2022 at the American Legion Post 37 in Bellow Falls, VT for all who wish to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fish and Wildlife Trust Fund for the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department.
