Harold Parkhurst III

Harold Parkhurst III CLAREMONT — November 14, 2022 age 65 passed away at Alpine Healthcare in Keene, NH after failing health. Born on April 19, 1957 in Washington, DC to Harold and Lois Parkhurst (Hamilton) Harold graduated from Stevens High School in Claremont in 1977 After graduation he enlisted in the US Army. After leaving the military he travelled to West Virginia for work. He met his former wife and they had two children. Ashlie McKay and Harold Parkhurst IV. He then moved to Maine where he was able to visit often with his parents. Harold enjoyed hunting, camping and was an accomplished wood carver. He has some local signs in Newport. He also carved and gifted Stevens High School with the Fighting Cardinal which hung up in the hall. He was a West Virginia Mountaineers fan. He was a tried and true HTTR Washington Commanders fan. Harold was committed to his faith and read his bible faithfully each day. He loved his family and enjoyed calling and talking with them often. Harold was predeceased by his mother Lois Parkhurst. (Hamilton) He is survived by his father Harold Parkhurst II, Newport News, VA his daughter Ashlie McKay, her husband Mark and his grandchildren Hannella, Judah and Micah, Needles, CA. His son Harold Parkhurst IV, Yuma, AZ Sister Carolyn Vick, Newport News, VA. Sister Gail Cobb and her husband James, Williamsburg, VA. Sister Tracy McGuire and her husband Gabe Archard, Newport News, VA. Brother Paul Parkhurst and his wife Cheri, Newport, NH Several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of Life to be held at Lake Church in Newport, NH in July 2023. Details will be announced at a later time. Arrangements made by Cremation Society of N.H.
