Lee Francis Archambault III CROYDON, NH -Lee Francis Archambault III, 84, passed away peacefully at his home in Winter Haven, FL on February 21. 2023 With his loving wife by his side. Lee was born on April 21, 1938 in Walden, VT to Lee F Archambault II and Barbara Tebbetts. Lee grew up in Vermont and Massachusetts. Lee served his country in the US Navy from 1956-1960 before moving to Croydon, NH in 1975 with his former spouse, Gail Roberts and together they had 4 boys. Prior to joining the US Navy, Lee bonded with one of his childhood friends family, whom he eventually lived with and considered his family; the Griffin family. Lee worked for the NH Department of Transportation for 23 years and retired in 1998. Lee enjoyed many years at his home on Rocky Bound Pond in Croydon, NH. Lee was involved with the building of the Croydon Fire Station as he was a volunteer fireman. In 1993, he married Dianne Rowe, they shared 29 years together, living Winters in Florida and Summers on Rocky Bound, Croydon, NH. Lee had 4 sons, Lee Archambault (Jeannette) of Croydon, Mark Archambault, of Croydon, Kris Archambault (Shelly) of Auburndale, FL and was predeceased by Kevin Archambault, of Tennessee. He is also survived by his extended siblings, brother Gene Griffin (Rolita) and sisters Marie Bocosile and Joice Romboletti, and his niece Karen Griffin, all of Westfield, MA. Lee has 7 grandchildren; Michelle, Nathan, Jeremy, Melissa, Kody, Austen and Anna. And, 5 great grandchildren; Mackenzie, Jackson, Ally, Logan and Katie. Lee’s celebration of life will be on Saturday, May 27th from 2-4 at the Croydon Fire Station, 828 Route 10 Croydon, NH. Burial will be private.
