CLAREMONT – The Eagle Times is happy to welcome David Bailey, Claremont, to the team as our newest Sales Associate.
The 48-year-old grew up in Concord prior to moving to Claremont five years ago on his brother’s advice. Bailey worked for Prime Source Foods for 19 years, where he was employed in food sales. For the past two and a half years, he has been working at Hannaford as an evening closing manager.
Bailey was drawn to the Eagle Times because of his interest in sales. “I liked doing sales before,” he said, adding that after initially applying a few months ago he was prompted to reapply after seeing the paper’s newest ad. “I thought it would be fun to do,” he said. “I like newspapers, so I thought I’d see what happens.” His current role sees him selling advertising space in the pages of the paper.
In his free time, Bailey spends time with his wife and two sons at home, as well as fishing. “I love to fish,” he said. “Striper fishing on the coast is one of my favorite things ever.”
