Fall Mountain beats Cougars, 4-1
SUTTON- The Wildcats pushed across 3 runs in the last inning to head home with their 11th win by beating Kearsarge, 4-1. The Wildcats took advantage of 6 Kearsarge errors while getting only 3 hits. Mitch Cormier grabbed two of those hits while Porter Willett grabbed the other. Foster Willett, Pat Connors, Troy Tenney and Cormier would all cross the plate while Cormier picked up the win on the mound.
Fall Mountain(11-4) will host Stevens(9-5) on Friday in the annual Kirby Cup game played at Hubbard field under the lights at 7.
Otter Valley 14, Windsor 5
WINDSOR-Maison Fortin had 2 hits while Johnny Clark knocked in 2 runs but the Jacks couldn’t keep the Otters off the bases, committing 6 errors in losing 14-5. Lee Bevis, Charles Palmer, Tanner Moody and Nate Griffen all added hits for the Jacks.

MASCENIC-The Lakers Addy Pifer blasted a solo home run while Emma McNally had a couple of hits including a double while Taylor Goodspeed went 2 for 3 at the plate.
Sunapee welcomes Newport on Thursday for the Lakers senior night.

WINDSOR-Cassie Clark had two hits and Bri Barton tripled as Windsor scored 4 runs to close the gap late, but couldn’t get any closer.

RUTLAND-After scoring six runs across the opening two innings, the Yellow Jackets kept Rutland off the board for the next three innings. Rutland found its groove again in the sixth, where it scored seven runs. “Rutland is a solid team. I was experimenting today and giving all 3 pitchers a turn on the mound. Piper Vivian pitched innings 1 and 2. Molly Burke then took over and Cassie Clark closed in the 6th” said Jack coach Wendy Moody as Mackenzie Kleefisch moved to catcher when Clark took to the circle.
Leland and Gray 5,
Springfield 4
TOWNSHEND — Leland & Gray and Springfield baseball were tied 4-4 in the seventh when the third straight strikeout was a dropped third strike enabling the L&G batter to reach and he scored the winning run. It has been that kind of season for the 4-9 Cosmos but the playoffs could produce |better times ahead for Springfield.
Logan Roundy came in with the bases loaded in the first and minimized the damage. He went on to pitch a strong game and enabled the Cosmos to battle back from a 3-0 deficit. Tanner Gintof had a double and triple for the Cosmos and Roundy had a double with two RBIs.
The Cosmos have games remaining with White River Valley on Thursday and Green Mountain on Saturday.

Springfield 5
MANCHESTER-The Division I Burr and Burton softball team bested D2 Springfield 17-5 on Tuesday. BBA improved to 7-6 ahead of its rivalry game with Rutland on Thursday. Springfield (3-12) is at D-I title contender Mount Anthony on Saturday.
