BRADFORD, VT — There is just no stopping the Oxbow Olympians (18-0) as they eye an undefeated season after handing Bellows Falls a 17-1 loss in Vermont Division 3 semi-final action. Jenna Dolloph, Natalie Noyes, Emma Thompson and Emma Spaulding all got hits for the Terriers, while Izzy Stoodley went the distance in the circle. #4 Seed Bellows Falls finished the season with an 11-7 record. #1 Oxbow will face off against #2 Thetford Academy at Castleton University for the crown.

Ends Up Short Against Littleton
LACONIA- The Sunapee Lakers finished its season on the road, bowing out to Littleton, 11-4, on Tuesday in New Hampshire Division 4 Baseball semi-final action. Sunapee closed out its season with an 18-3 record.
Sunapee (18-3) ran into a tough-hitting Littleton team in the state semi-finals. The Lakers scored first in the first inning, but Littleton answered with three of its own in the second. The Lakers then scored two in the home half of the second as Brock Kangas reached on a fielder’s choice. Sam Flint singled and Ben Gross hit a high fly ball between the second baseman and right fielder that dropped to the ground, scoring two runs to tie it. Littleton scored three in the third with two outs to gain momentum for the rest of the game. The Lakers had some opportunities throughout the game but could not break out for the big inning. Sam Flint finished a stellar career going 1-2 and scoring three runs for the Lakers while Jonah Flint, John Roth and Ian McNally all collected hits. The Lakers are graduating seven seniors, Sam and Jonah Flint, John Roth, Jack Holobowicz, Cam Messenger, Nick Pollari, and Chuck Gallant, and will have a lot of holes to fill next year.
