N.H. Troopers Swarm Lakes Region, Arrest 7

Drivers in the Lakes Region may have noticed extra troopers on area roads Friday as State Police stepped up patrols.

Members of the division’s Drug Recognition Unit made 58 traffic stops resulting in 13 citations, 48 warnings and seven arrests during Friday’s high-visibility DUI Saturation Patrol, according to a statement released by state police Public Information Officer Amber Legace on June 18.

According to state police, the enforcement effort is funded by the New Hampshire Office of Highway Safety in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Those facing charges are:

• Anthony E. Parolin, 21, of Bridgewater, MA., who was arrested in Meredith and is accused of allegedly driving under the influence – alcohol, speeding and possession of controlled drugs.

• Blake E. Starratt, 21, of Raynham, MA., who was arrested in Meredith and charged with allegedly driving under the influence – alcohol.

• Keith J. Demers, 41, of Bradford, who was arrested in Gliford and charged with allegedly driving under the influence – alcohol.

• John P. Miller, 35, of Franklin, who was arrested in Laconia and charged with allegedly driving under the influence – alcohol, speeding and yellow line violation.

• Sharissa Cyra, 33, of Manchester, who was arrested in Gilford and charged with allegedly driving after revocation or suspension.

• Brian McPherson, 43, of Ormond Beach, FL, who was arrested in Gilford and charged with allegedly driving after revocation or suspension.

• Daniel Digiovanni, 47, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, who was arrested in Gilford and charged with allegedly reckless operation.

Parolin, Starratt, Demers and Miller were released on personal recognizance and ordered to appear at 8:30 a.m., June 22, in 4th Circuit Court, District Division, in Laconia.

Cyra, McPherson and Digiovanni were released on summons and ordered to appear at 8:30 a.m., June 27, in 4th Circuit Court, District Division, in Laconia.
