Jeffery J. Belisle SPRINGFIELD/WINDSOR, VT -Jeffrey John Belisle, 68, of Springfield and Windsor, Vermont, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 26, 2023. Jeff was born on May 7, 1955, in Springfield to Shirley (Comstock) and Louis Belisle. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1973 and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont. A Certified Public Accountant, Jeff went on to have an acclaimed career as a senior executive in several financial institutions in the Precision Valley. Jeff excelled in sports as a member of the Springfield basketball, football, and swim teams. He had a great love of theater and acting. He was well known for his sense of fun and could always be counted on to take part in the shenanigans. Jeff was also a loyal member of the Elks Lodge. Jeff is survived by his wife Gayle Hegel, son Keith, and daughter Megan (Patrick) Ruitto of Gray, ME, his grandchildren Maggie, Isla, and Lucas, along with siblings, Kathy (Erik Hansen), Maynard, MA; Laurie, Mystic, CT; Sharon (Bill Capen), Exeter NH; and Greg (Joanne), Charleston, SC. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces, and nephews. Jeff was part of a very extended family that opened their hearts and homes to many. His large group of friends considered themselves part of his family and Jeff as their brother. He was best known for his love and devotion to his family and friends and will be sorely missed by all.
