Avant Vermont Dance held its original performance of SEASONS: Summer by the roaring Black River at Springfield’s Comtu Falls Park showcasing contemporary ballet and modern dance styles.
The performance, the first of a series of four this year, also featured a community art project at its conclusion. Avant Vermont Dance is a registered nonprofit using movement to re-imagine community and engage the public in art making focusing on both providing opportunities for local dancers to perform but also for public to experience the art making.
