• At 9:45 p.m., June 22, Sunapee Police Sergeant Nicholas Boisvert spotted a bicyclist riding without any lights after dark. Boisvert activated his lights and stopped and spoke with the cyclist.
Shortly after clearing the scene, Boisvert learned the rider has an active Electronic Bench Warrant out of Laconia District Court for Failure to Appear on the charge of Operating after Suspension.
Boisvert went to the rider’s Sunapee residence and placed Nathan Lynch of 28 Beech Street, Apt 1, under arrest on the warrant. Lynch was then transported to the Sunapee Police Department for booking and processing.
He was then bailed and released with a court date at the Laconia District Court in Laconia.
• At 7 a.m., June 25, Sunapee Police Sergeant Nicholas Boisvert observed a vehicle in the parking lot of Evans Expressmart with an individual passed out behind the wheel of the running vehicle.
Boisvert discovered the operator had a suspended driver’s license and that the vehicle’s registration was suspended. After determining that she was not impaired, Shannon Martin of 295 East Mountain Road, Newport, was placed under arrest on the charges of Driving after Revocation or Suspension and Suspension of Registration. She was transported to the Sunapee Police Department for booking and then bailed and released with a court date at the 5th Circuit Court in Newport.
