CONCORD, NH — State troopers say an uncooperative Claremont woman kicked out a cruiser’s window.
At 11:38 p.m. Tuesday, a New Hampshire State Police Troop D trooper was monitoring Interstate 93 in Concord when a vehicle was spotted having difficulty maintaining its lane as it travelled northbound at nearly 100 mph in a 55 mph zone.
According to State Police, the vehicle was driven by Lisa Marie Kroeger-Kangas, 46, of Claremont.
“After a roadside investigation, the trooper attempted to place Kroeger-Kangas under arrest for aggravated driving under the influence,” police said. And, despite being “actively restrained,” Kroeger-Kangas struggled with the trooper as she was placed in the back of a State Police cruiser.
“While Kroeger-Kangas was in the rear of the cruiser, she kicked out the right-rear-passenger-side window sending shattered glass at two of the troopers on scene,” police said.
She was transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections in Boscawen, where she refused bail and was held pending her arraignment in Concord District Court, police said.
She is charged with aggravated driving under the influence, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and reckless operation.
