Sunday’s Crayon 301 NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon was called off because of rain.
The race will now run at noon Monday. Gates will open at 10 a.m.
It has been an inclement year for NASCR, the Crayon 301 is the third race of the year postponed for rain after races in Dover, Delaware, and Concord, North Carolina. Last Week’s race in Atlanta ended 75 laps early.
The Crayon 301 wasn’t the only professional sporting event canceled over the weekend.
Sunday’s games between the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, and the Altoona Curve were also called off.
Fisher Cats tickets can be exchanged at the box office for equal-lesser value for any 2023 regular season home game.
The Fisher Cats will begin a six- game road trip Tuesday against the Portland Sea Dogs.
The Fisher Cats return to Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester on July 25 for a game against the Hartford Yard Goats.
