Albert H. Randall III YPSILATNI, MI -Albert H. Randall III, age 52, of Ypsilanti, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Corewell Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan. Born on July 11, 1970 in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of Albert Randall II and Bonnie (Coates). He was employed with Saylor Inc. and was a laborer journeyman with local 1191 for 24 years. He loved to watch stand-up comedy and had an unforgettable laugh unique to the Randall boys. His laugh, paired with his iconic “goofball” facial expressions and off-color humor, never failed to make everyone in the room smile and laugh along with him. He was an avid fisherman and shared his love of fishing with family and buddies in his favorite places like Carne’s Cove on Squam Lake and salmon fishing in the rivers of Michigan. Al also enjoyed deer hunting, following and watching his favorite Boston sports teams, and playing Call of Duty, especially with his brother David. Al loved making “the best margarita you’ve ever had in your life” for anyone who would let him. He had a love for words which he obtained from his love of reading, especially James Patterson and John Grisham books. He loved music, especially 70s and 80s classic rock, and was known for changing the lyrics to make everyone laugh. Albert was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Christopher. He is survived by his children Laiken Randall, Jacob Randall, Kelsea (George) Wolf, grandson George Wolf, mother Bonnie (John) Keniston, father Albert (Terry Whalen) Randall II, grandmother Connie Moore, Aunt Raelene De Rosia, brothers David (Sarah) Randall and Alex (Cassidy) Randall, niece Megan Randall, nephews Ethan Randall, Gage Randall, Christopher Randall, Johnny Randall and Kevin Randall, his best friend of 30 years, Jason Dobrovalski, and countless beloved family and friends. A graveside service will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Springfield, VT on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A reception will follow the service at Hartness House in Springfield from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
