CLAREMONT, N.H. — Chris Frost has joined the staff of the Eagle Times as News Editor.
Frost comes from California, where he was the owner and publisher of the Tri County Sentry, based in Oxnard. He started pursuing his dreams at age 49 when he left the hospitality industry to pursue a career in journalism, which he studied in college but put on hold to raise his children.
“I look forward to being a part of the community and keeping everyone informed about everything from community events to what’s happening at City Hall,” Frost said. “Keeping the public informed is a responsibility I take seriously and I always promise to give the readers 100 percent effort and publish the best paper in the Twin State Valley. I’m joining a great team and couldn’t be happier.”
Eagle Times Publisher Rich Girard welcomed Frost to the team. “Chris’ ability to cover stories is truly impressive. He has a dogged work ethic and isn’t afraid to ask the questions needed to get to the bottom of a story. People will quickly get used to seeing him around the area because he’ll be out there. Even though he won’t be here until mid-July, stories big and small have already been sent his way. We can’t wait until he’s on site, working at full capacity.”
Frost is a 1981 Graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a B.A. in Mass Communications. He and his wife Janis have been married for 24 years and have raised three Boys and countless Dogs and Cats. He’ll be renting in Windsor, VT once he arrives.
