Gov. Sununu Going to Iowa

Special To The Eagle Times
Concord, N.H. – This weekend, Governor Chris Sununu is traveling to Des Moines, Iowa, to attend the Republican Party of Iowa’s 2023 Lincoln Dinner.

The Governor is attending on the invitation of Run GenZ, a non-profit group focused on “empowering and mentoring conservative trailblazers from Generation Z to pursue leadership opportunities, including public office that allow them to work toward a more constitutionally-focused government.”

The governor last traveled to Iowa in July 2022, when he attended the Run GenZ Summer Summit. During that trip, he participated in a fireside chat with former Iowa Governor Terry Branstad and former New Hampshire Governor John H. Sununu on the importance of the New Hampshire First in the Nation Presidential Primary and the Iowa Caucus.

The governor will depart for Iowa on Friday, and return to New Hampshire on Sunday.

No taxpayer funds are being used for the governor’s travel.
