CONCORD, N.H. — Ballot-counting devices produced by four vendors will be demonstrated Wednesday at the Legislative Office Building in Concord.
The Secretary of State’s Office has been working with the Ballot Law Commission as it looks to replace the aging AccuVote ballot-counting devices used during New Hampshire elections. Devices produced by Dominion Voting Systems, Election Systems & Software and VotingWorks are being considered as replacements.
Each vendor will demonstrate their electronic ballot-counting devices and attendees will have an opportunity to feed ballots through each device and score and rate the devices. The Secretary of State’s Office plans to compile the feedback and present it to the Ballot Law Commission.
This event is open to the New Hampshire public, and all attendees, including members of the media, are welcome to test the ballot-counting devices.
Two sessions will be held, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Legislative Office Building at 33 North Street in Concord.
