Hazel E. Brown NORTH CHARLESTOWN, NH -Hazel E. Brown, 86, passed away on Tuesday August 1st at Valley Regional Hospital following a heart attack. Hazel was born on September 19, 1936 and resided in North Charlestown NH. Hazel married Raymond Brown on July 28th and they happily celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary with a family dinner. Hazel’s joy was her family. She loved cooking Sunday dinners, babysitting for grandchildren, great grandchildren and even grand-dogs. Hazel made every holiday and birthday special for her family and friends. Hazel enjoyed riding with Raymond in their various antique cars going to car shows, shopping with her daughters, going out to eat and cooking, she made the best donuts! Hazel often said there is always room for one more at the dinner table! And let’s not forget that Hazel was an Avon representative for over thirty years, bringing glamor and good cheer to many. Her kind, giving spirit will be missed by all those she touched. Hazel is survived by her husband, Raymond, her son David (Debbie) of Charlestown; daughters Debbie Tebo, and Lori Brown Yanklowitz (Raymond) of Claremont; her special nephew Shawn Nelson of Charlestown. Four grandchildren; Carine Abbott, Joey Tebo, Ryan Brown and Sarah Brown; and eight great-grandchildren, Noah, Hunter & Kevin Abbott; Charlotte & Cameron Brown, Gabriel Brown, Gage Beaudry & Jaxson Robitille. She was predeceased by son-in-law Donald Tebo, sisters Mildred Nelson, Lillian Miller, Irene Smart, Dorothy Mullaney and brothers Fredrick Richardson and Lee Richardson. Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Stringers Funeral Home Claremont, from 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to an organization of your choice.
