SPECIAL TO THE EAGLE TIMES
The Fall Mountain Wildcats football program kicked off its 2023 this past week with pre-season practices.
Saturday morning began with a new approach to stretching, in an effort to reduce injuries, Jeff Riendeau led the team through some simple yoga moves.
Following practice on Saturday, the team, including some middle school players, split into two and held its annual car washes in Walpole and Charlestown to launch their fundraising efforts. The Fall Mountain communities came out and supported the program with donations as the boys scrubbed and washed their vehicles while other players encouraged passersby to join the fun. They cleaned trucks, cars, police cruisers and even a Charlestown fire engine.
