New London, N.H. — The Center for the Arts: Lake Sunapee Region is hosting its inaugural Family Arts Festival from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Saturday.
This free event will take place at the New London Historical Society, located at 179 Little Lake Sunapee Rd. in New London.
Arts and crafts activities, face painting, henna, and games will be featured at the event. The festival is a great way to find out about local arts classes and fun opportunities for families.
Performances at the event include music by Decatur Creek and dance performances by Dance Arts Academy and Kearsarge Conservatory for the Performing Arts.
Refreshments will be provided by the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Lake Sunapee Region Chamber of Commerce, and Sanctuary Farms.
Organizations participating in the festival include: the New London Barn Playhouse, Library Arts Center, Dance Arts Academy, Kearsarge Conservatory for the Performing Arts, Tracy Memorial Library, Dunbar Free Library, New London Recreation, Andover Library, Concord School of Music, Upper Valley Circus, and more.
