Plainfield celebrated its 11th annual Spirit Day Celebration on Sunday as a few hundred Plainfielders turned out at Plainfield Elementary for a good time with Maple creamees, grilled corn, music and more. The celebration is a spin-off of Plainfield’s 250th ending ceremony from 2011. All of the creamees and corn were supplied by Mac’s Maple and Edgewater farm, and the Loose Cannons provided the music. The night concluded with fireworks.
