Eagle Times Staff
CONCORD, N.H. — Gov. Chris Sununu requested Wednesday, Aug. 30, that President Joe Biden issue a major disaster declaration and provide federal emergency assistance for the damage that occurred in New Hampshire because of severe weather and flooding from July 9 through July 17.

The following day, Gov. Sununu wrote to members of New Hampshire’s Congressional Delegation with concerns regarding the recent notice sent by FEMA to the states regarding the suspension of payments from the Disaster Relief Fund and the switch to immediate needs funding.
