Although Stevens was not victorious in their season opener, Tank showed true leadership on both sides of the ball.
He finished the game with a game high 3 rushing touchdowns out of the wildcat offense. He also bulldozed his way for 136 yards on 32 rush attempts. On defense, he had eight tackles with five of those coming solo.
“My performance is completely based off my teammates working hard all game and blocking with their hearts out on every single play.” Tank said. “We may have had some rough patches in the game but once we smooth those out, I think we can get some wins under out belts.”
