CLAREMONT, NH — The payroll issue at SAU 6, which caused some inconvenience for employees, has been explained, courtesy of Claremont Savings Bank President and CEO Dave Finnerty.
“There was an issue with the payroll system at SAU 6, an internal issue, which prevented the file from going out and being loaded on Thursday evening, Sept. 14, so it can be processed on Friday, Sept. 15,” said Finnerty. “What we were able to do on Friday morning was work with SAU 6 and get them reprocessed with a same-day file.”
He said the bank sent a representative to SAU 6, worked with people from SAU 6 and corrected the issue.
“Everyone got paid on Friday,” Finnerty said. “I believe they have fixed whatever the issue was, so things should run smoothly, but we’ll keep an eye on it.”
A school administrator was able to confirm that the issue was handled with Claremont Savings Bank.
“We are working on the isolated issue that delayed payroll for some staff on Friday,” said SAU 6 Superintendent Michael Tempesta.
