CLAREMONT, NH — Claremont Christian Academy cross country team had their first meet this year at the 2023 Nashua North Cross Country Invitational in Nashua, NH, this past Saturday, Sept. 16. Coaches Dave Golden and Fred Thompson have coached seven students for the past nine weeks to be prepared for their first year of cross-country team sports.
A total of 105 runners participated in the girls JV 5k. Laethy Golden placed 12th with a time of 22:59; Anna Frisch placed 80th with a time of 29:47; and Hannah Golden placed 87 with a time of 30:31.
There were 142 runners for the JV boys 5k. Gabriel Nilges placed 57 with a time of 20:24; Ezra Hector placed 92 with a time 22:19; and Wade hector placed 118 with a time of 23:31.
In the boys middle school 2-mile run saw John Henry Andrews place 17th out of 71 total runners with a time of 13:08.
