NEW LONDON, NH — Bradford parents now have additional preschool options as Superintendent Winfried Feneberg and the community celebrated the grand opening of the new Kearsarge Regional Preschool at Bradford.
Last fall, the district decided to expand its preschool program to two locations in recognition of the growing need for early childhood education. The expansion was funded using Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds to purchase a modular building for the growing program.
As a result of the expansion, the district has also rebranded the preschool program and changed its name to Kearsarge Regional Preschool (KRPS) at New London and at Bradford.
The new location in Bradford officially opened on the first day of the school year, Tuesday, Aug. 29. During Wednesday’s grand opening, attendees were given a tour of the building, which has two classrooms, a teacher workspace, motor room, speech room, staff area, and bathrooms. The preschool also has a fenced-in playground.
“We are thrilled that the new KRPS location is completed and is now open for our preschool students,” said Feneberg.
