Lorraine Beverly A. Bonneville

Lorraine Beverly Ann Bonneville CLAREMONT, NH -Lorraine Beverly Ann Bonneville, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 17, 2023. She was born on June 20, 1938, in Claremont, NH, the daughter of John and Clarilda (Duval) Genewicz. Lorraine graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1956 and married Richard A. Bonneville on June 23 that same year. She was married to Richard for nearly 63 years and they enjoyed their many years together working on projects around their home and traveling; their favorite places were on the seacoast. Lorraine loved the ocean. Richard predeceased her in February 2019. Lorraine was best known in the community for her role as a support person and then manager of the Claremont Middle School cafeteria where she worked for over twenty years. People still talk about the delicious rolls that they made in the cafeteria back then. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, hummingbirds, and flowers; and she was a diligent homemaker and supporter of her family. In recent years, since Richard’s passing, she spent quiet days caring for her home, watching her favorite mystery shows, doing wordsearch puzzles, and in the last year, enjoying the company of a companion dog. She was a listener and held things close in her heart. Her surviving family includes her daughters, Pamela Desharnais and husband Real, Marcia Klungler and husband Scott, and Mary Bonneville; her sisters Pauline Ouellette, Theresa Rondeau, and Lorretta (and John) Yurek; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Aside from her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter and one sibling, Rita. Stringer Funeral Home is taking care of arrangements. Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Lorraine will be buried at sea at the same location her beloved Richard was interned.
