CONCORD, NH – For the first time in more than 20 years, New Hampshire Motor Vehicles Division staff will hold an agencywide training day on Monday, Oct. 9.
Division Director John Marasco announced the comprehensive training to be held on Columbus Day will be focused on customer service, professional development and emergency preparedness.
To provide for the training, all DMV locations throughout the state will be closed on Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 9.
To minimize the inconvenience to customers, the Concord, Dover, Manchester, Newport and Salem DMV offices will be open by appointment only from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7. The appointment portal can be accessed via the “Make an Appointment” button on dmv.nh.gov.
“This important day of training will further the ability of DMV employees to offer the gold standard of customer service that the DMV strives to provide each day, as well as employee professional development and emergency situational preparedness,” said Marasco.
